I hope this information can help you to enrich your knowledge of useful wild foragable plants. Today we are identifying Cobblers pegs aka Farmer’s friends, which go ny the lantin name bidens pilosa.

This plant is prolific where I live here on the Sunshine Coast in South East Queensland in Australia. It is naturalised in many regions of the world and is thought to be of tropical American origin. It is common in Oceania, Asia, Africa, North, South and Central America, the Caribbean and Europe (where it is less common).
